Hello y’all, welcome to my blog!
My name is Janiece, I’m 23 years-old and I was born, raised and still live in Ada Oklahoma (Ada area anyways)! I’m named after my mom so I’ve been Niecey my whole life.
11 random facts about me in honor of the 11 countries (there are more at the bottom):
- I like to read and prefer YA novels most of the time.
- I’m a nerd. I love a lot of the “nerdy” franchises; Star Wars, HP, Marvel, etc.
- I absolutely LOVE being an aunt. It’s my favorite thing ever.
- Hillary and I finally decided to watch Grey’s Anatomy last year to find out what the hype was about (most of my friends are fans and I had never seen an episode)–we both watched 15 seasons in less than a year.
- I’ve never been camping in the traditional sense (does church camp count??).
- Grew up on a chicken farm
- My Myers-Briggs is apparently XNFJ. I didn’t even know X was an option!

Administration - I love all little “adventures” and experiences; especially when it’s done with family and friends.
- I feel really strongly about lifting people (mostly women) of all ages up; particularly the ones who are broken and hurting, or maybe just cannot see themselves the way God sees them.
- My family is super important to me and I love them so much! Here’s a little about them:
My mom is amazing! She raised 4 out of 5 kids on her own after we lost my dad in 1999. She also home-schooled us while working full time. She’s a nurse and she’s great! She likes NCIS, Johnny Depp movies, and being a “Grammy.”
James is my hero (he’s a deputy sheriff) also, he should never grow a mustache (sorry, James). He likes working security at concerts and OU football games, telling hilarious stories, gym time, and helping out with the youth group at his church.
Phillip owns a automotive shop here in town. We look, act and sound like twins most of the time. He’s married to my best friend; “my person” Hillary. He’s lovingly known as the “pot stirrer” because he’s super blunt. He likes memes, gifs, sci-fi and most “nerdy” movies, and playing a strategies game on his phone. They have 3 beautiful kids: Mackenzee, Kasen, and their January baby; Jacksen!
Shelley is married to John and they have 2 wonderful kids: Jonathan and Will. Shelley is the shortest sibling (sorry, Shelley). She likes old country music, Christian romance novels, and Lord of the Rings.
I’m the middle girl.
Beth is a St. Patrick’s Day baby so she goes all out in wacky green (her favorite color) outfits for her birthday. She likes Fall Out Boy, tattoos, and dying her hair unique colors.
Hillary isn’t a sibling but she’s my person and my sister in-law. She’s amazing, incredibly funny, and she’s a fantastic mother! She likes jamming out to 00’s hip hop and pop, spending time at her parent’s with her large family, any trip to Disneyland, and just California (she’s from SoCal) in general. Her mom, Michelle is awesome! She loves me as her own (she has 8 kids + spouses and their kids, it’s a ton of people but get-togethers are always fun), she speaks life, gives wisdom and hears my heart. And time with her and Hillary is a GREAT time!

We have a lot of fun when we all get together! Lots of laughter, memories and made-up scenarios. It’s loud and crazy but it’s my family and I love every minute of it!
I work in a corporate home office here in Ada, was born a night owl, and don’t like heights much. I tend to overthink and worry about what people think a lot.
This past year, God has really been ministering to me about who I am in Christ and who He‘s created me to be. I’ve had several people speak life, love and words directly from the heart of Jesus into my spirit. I’m so incredibly excited to see all of the things He’s going to continue to do in my heart and the new things He’s going to show me this year! I’m also excited to see all that He does and is doing in the hearts and the people of the different places I’m going to!
Such a great start!! I am looking forward to watching this whole thing unfold for you every step of the way. What an amazing opportunity! God is so good and he will provide. I love you so much! And that was really sweet what you wrote about me… Brought tears to my eyes!??

This is certain to be life changing! You will grow exponentially in every way. I’ve witnessed it with a Payton just in the six months he did this. We will be support you in prayer and, as we can, financially.
There will most likely be times that funds seems impossible, that you’ll want nothing more than to come and you’ll just want a normal shower – but God has called ya to this so He will Provide. When it seems hopeless, He will provide. Don’t waiver in that. 🙂
